Great modern house in a quiet neighborhood with great scenery, perfect for our family. House was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Management company was extremely easy to work with and had great communication. House was not far from restaurants and downtown Pagosa, a little bit farther away from Wal-Mart. All and all a great place and we would definitely stay again!

The Maverick Home was clean, large, comfortable, & perfectly located for our vacation. Beautiful location, quiet & peaceful setting among the Ponderosa Pines. Highly recommend this property for your vacation retreat.

Staying at Pagosa Contemporary Cabin was an extraordinary experience because of the large windows throughout, its crispness and lack of clutter, and the aesthetics of the house design as well as the beautiful wall designs, light fixtures, and mirrors. You will feel this is your home for the period of time you live in this special place.

This was an outstanding place for our July 4th getaway. It served as base camp for our crew that allowed quick access to the highways to get to Pagosa Springs (5-7 mins away), Treasure Falls (20 mins or so) Big Meadow Reservoir and Williams Creek Reservoir (60 mins or so). Beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room for our crew of 6 when we weren’t out enjoying Pagosa. A++ on the service and available amenities at the cabin. The property manger helped us save on rafting in Durango and had great options around Pagosa.

The only miss at this place was the lack of ventilation or being able to move the air around the cabin. We were there the week of the 4th and it was warm for Colorado (mid 80s) the large, west facing windows provide stunning views to the valley to the west, but they also let in radiant heat (even with the shades down). We left the windows open and the fans on all day, but there was little breeze to help out. Now, this wasn’t a huge deal as we were out of the cabin most of the day, the letdown was in the evening when it took a while to cool down the bedrooms (master more than the others). Almost everything about this cabin was outstanding, I just think the owner missed an opportunity to make a clean sweep with this oversight.

Would 100% recommend you putting this on your have-to-stay places in Pagosa Springs.

The Pagosa Contemporary Cabin was a perfect little mountain get away for a last minute trip to Pagosa Springs this year. The check-in and out process was easy, and the location of the cabin was just far enough outside of town that we avoided all the crazy traffic.

Second time to stay and it was perfect..the home is clean and comfortable..each time we’ve been, wildlife has been at the back of the house, right out the back window for up close viewing, amazing! Staff at VIP are helpful and always available..

We recently stayed in this rental for 3 nights. The house was incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable to us (memory foam type mattresses). The kitchen was very well stocked (cooking oils, spices, cookware, etc.). The internet was a little slow but considering its satellite-based that's to be expected (it was adequate for streaming with a little buffering). The location was great, it's located in the back of the subdivision, so it was very quiet. The property is surrounded by tall pines which do somewhat block the views of the mountains, but the sunsets are incredible through the trees. The roads leading to the property are not paved, so they are a bit rough in places, nothing major if you take your time. The host was very responsive and quickly arranged for a minor maintenance issue to be addressed. Garage access is not allowed but there was plenty of parking in front. When staying here be sure to visit the wildlife sanctuary about 2 miles away, it was a fantastic experience! Overall, this is a beautiful property and super relaxing, we'll be back!

Absolutely an amazing rental property. Very modern and accommodating.
No expense was spared. Very well equipped with the best of the best. Lori the property manager was on top of our stay from beginning to end. We had ones small issue and she was fast to respond and resolve.
You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I spent several days at this incredible home and were impressed with every detail. We arrived late on a Sunday and had to contact VIP after hours with a few access questions. They picked up on the first ring, were quick with responses and knew the details of the property.

The home/property itself is a true gem. The nicest vacation rental that we have stayed at to date. Perfect home in a wooded private setting. Close to town, fully stocked and comfortable.

We had a very enjoyable experience at Dancing Bear in Pagosa Springs. The home was exceptional in all that it offered. We prepared many meals and had all the right cooking materials as well as dishes. There was a minor issue with the heating/cooling system but it was taken care of immediately. I texted our manager, Lori, for a couple of items and she responded quickly to all of our needs. Perhaps updating the notice on the hot tub or putting up a sign about it's scheduled cleaning would be something I would suggest. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful. Enjoyed the area very much! We will consider returning!

So comfortable. Spacious. And all the right vibes with the cabin. We cooked, we bbq'ed. Jumped in the hottub and played in the game room. Kids had a blast. Would recommend to everyone looking and reading this

Had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving Holiday. The facilities were great and clean overall. Maybe more attention to dusting. One other thing is that there could be an extra towel in bathrooms. One towel for five days is not adequate. You shouldn't have to call for extra towels. All appliances worked great. Beautiful property.

This setting provided an October to remember. The large windows and upstairs deck provide an unlimited view to the fall color. The property provided just the respite we needed from city life. Relaxing on the deck with a book, sitting on the deck at night beside the outside electric "fires" and playing frisbee on the backyard lawn gave us the perfect splash of quiet nature and casual activity. The downtown activity was "just enough"-it wasn't too busy, but restaurants and shops were open to serve. Next time, we'll try the hot springs!

The home is amazing. Great views,nice and clean, awesome game room and hot tub. Plenty of room for a big group. The management company is very helpful as well.

Staying at the Winters Cabin was a wonderful experience. The communication from booking to checkout was wonderful. The property was even better than described. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend get away. I highly recommend and would definitely re-book!

This house was perfect for our ski trip with young kids. It was a short drive to Wolf Creek and easy to get to. We loved the hot tub and fireplace. This was a great property and wonderful location to town and Wolfecreek ski area. House was beautiful and was perfect for the four adults. We enjoyed the real wood burning fireplace and hot tub on deck. The team had everything stocked and ready when we arrived and delivered firewood same day for us to enjoy. If looking for a cabin that has amazing views in a great location this is your spot.

We loved our stay at the winters cabin. It was cozy and exactly what we were hoping for in a winter season getaway.

We just spent an amazing 4 nights at Winter’s Cabin and are already planning or next trip! This beautiful cabin felt like home and is perfectly located just outside of Pagosa Springs. The primary bedroom was comfortable and they provided lots of extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen is well stocked and they have anything you might need. Hot tub has a beautiful view and was perfect after skiing for the day. Winter’s Cabin exceeded our expectations. We had one small issue and the management company was super responsive and came out within 2 hours of the initial call-best service we have ever had at a rental home. We cannot wait to come back for another trip!

My family and I spent Thanksgiving here. It was fantastic. I was very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was! They had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. The space was spotless and we were all very comfortable staying here. The hosts are very responsive and helped with any questions I had. Staying at this gorgeous cabin made for many amazing memories for my family. I would definitely stay here or at one of their other properties again.

Beautiful property! The VRBO hosts were super communicative and helpful. We loved watching the sunsets while sitting lakeside on the deck! Highly recommend.

Very pretty and quiet. The sunsets off the back porch were amazing. House was very comfortable, clean and it is close to everything. We saw plenty of wildlife (deer, geese, ducks, colorful birds and even what may have been a river otter. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again. I would also recommend going to Durango for the train ride to Silverton.

Communication with the rental team was excellent. The home has great space, located perfectly with lots of space to move about both in and out. There were 6 of us in our group and we were all very comfortable and had plenty of space. There were two small docks situated on the property which was nice. The swing on the back porch was perfection. The cool weather and location right on the lake made for the best coffee spot. Can't wait to go back. House was as pictured. check in and check out were seamless. We loved the location of the house and the dip it sits out on over the lake.

We travel to Pegosa Springs every year for a winter ski break. This year we were lucky enough to find this little jewel! It was very clean, had everything we needed and was close to most restaurants and Walmart! The boot rack and dryer were awesome!!! We will definitely try to snag this one next time!!!!

My husband and I travel to Pagosa every year after Christmas to celebrate our anniversary. Pagosa is special to us because it is where he proposed and we got married. After 5 years of visiting, this was by far the BEST experience and stay that we have had. This towenhouse was nothing short of AMAZING and top of line in all aspects. There is no mountain views but if you are looking to just relax and enjoy the town this one is perfect. We did see several Mule deer walking past our window this year which we are assuming it was due to lack of snow that has fallen.VIP Management company were also awesome with communication.

This condo is tucked away in a private, quiet residential area but minutes away from many stores and restaurants. The condo was very clean and well taken care of. The condo was stocked with many great, upgraded extras making it feel more like home. Even extras for your four legged friends. Both beds were very comfortable and for us that can make or break a vacation. Both bedrooms are on the first floor, with their own bathroom. This helped make the stay easier with our special needs daughter. The washer and dryer were a life saver! The steam shower and heated bathroom floor was amazing! Almost all of the lighting fixtures had dimmable features available and easy on the eyes up-lighting.
We forgot our fans but the staff was very accommodating and provided two fans for us the same day. We will definitely be back. If this property is not available we will definitely stay with VIP's other properties.
