Fantastic Stay clean comfortable and safe!

We had a great time at Tipsy Bear, this was our 2nd time using this location. It worked great as a home base for our family. One non- skier stayed back and walked the trails and explored the town while the rest of us spent our days at Wolf Creek. Great location !

This was the 4th year coming back and staying in Pagosa and it gets better and better every year. Stuart & Lori made this trip so much better and they are always very helpful. The cabin was great and comfortable. We definitely will come back.

Cozy house with plenty of space to relax as a family after a day skiing!

The House was exactly what we were looking for! The neighborhood was quiet and away from the busyness of downtown. The house was comfortable and well stocked on necessities. The upstairs was roomy enough for the 5 of us to cook, eat, and hang out in the evenings. We ran into an issue with a shower at 0600 on a Sunday and they were at the house quickly to assist and had it fixed while we were in the slopes during the day!

Easy check in. Good location. Clean no issues at all. Everything as expected.

Although I did not end up bringing my dog on this vacation, it was so nice to know that I could, if necessary. The home was quiet and comfortable. The only think I would complain about was the tiny upstairs bathroom. The deck is lovely and this place served our needs very well. The home was well-stocked with cleaning supplies, etc. Really appreciated all the snacks you left for us!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tipsy Bear. The home is very nice, and good amenities were provided. We saw quite a few deer in the neighborhood. It is conveniently located.

The house was perfect. Just as it was described. The deck was awesome even if we didn't get to use it due to rain but we would of otherwise. The house could use an upgrade on cooking utensils. We used the house as our base camp and went on adventures every day.

Ideal location that is near the heart of the community and still provides a woodsy feel. It is extremely tranquil; the sounds of nature are relaxing. Inside the place is a really comfy home with great amenities.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Tipsy Bear! This home is comfortable, quiet, and close to the Springs, but secluded from the noise of town. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the mornings, and wine with the sunset at night.

We loved our little Getaway Pagosa Springs Cabin!! Was the perfect size and location !! Cabin was well equipped with all the necessary items you could imagine !! Even sleds outside for the grandkids !! Thank you Typsy Bear for a memorable beginning to 2021!!We would definitely revisit this location!

Wonderful property in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. House is fabulous , and just as described. Outdoor deck was great for morning coffee, or evening meals. Several deer families visited each morning. So cute. My husband and I (and our dog) were truly sad that we had to leave. Hope we can come back to this same property very soon.

We rented the "Tipsy Bear" house in Pagosa Springs for the entire month of August and we LOVED it!! It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home!

We had a great stay at Tipsy Bear! Loved the upper deck--we ate breakfast and dinner out there daily. Stuart and Lori were very responsive to all of our questions and we'd definitely rent from them again.

This was a perfect place for our family of four (plus our dog) to get away from the Texas summer heat for a week. The things that made it stand apart were lots of little things – good water pressure, almost no wait for hot water, generous bedroom sizes with plenty of closet space, a Keurig machine in the kitchen. Everything was immaculate when we got there and the owner-managers had done a great job communicating with us in advance to make sure we knew everything we needed to know and to see if we needed help with anything while we were there.

A few things to know:
* The property's on the west side of town with lots of good takeout options nearby (we especially loved Thai Pagosa and MEE Hmong Cuisine, although the latter's a short drive further). The west side might not be ideal if you're skiing at Wolf Creek but for summer hiking it was fantastic, and it's easy to get to Chimney Rock National Monument.
* The neighborhood is very quiet, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open and sleeping in late.
* The shower/toilet part of the bathroom in the main bedroom on the upper floor is a little cramped--not a problem for us but if you need more room it might be a little inconvenient (or you might need to stay downstairs where the shared bathroom is a little roomier).
* If you're looking for a great hike, I can't recommend highly enough the Piedra River Trail. Fairly easy but with absolutely stunning views.

I would love it if we had the chance to stay at the Tipsy Bear again, and would enthusiastically recommend if you're looking for a great place to stay near Pagosa Springs.

Very comfortable, the only suggestion would be to replace shelf lining...it is not inviting at all, especially in the lower cabinets with pans. We cooked most of our meals due to pandemic, didn’t find the shelves very organized. Patios very nice. Bed comfortable.

Had a peaceful stay for a holiday weekend. We had immediate response from the management company when needed with questions. Clean home with comfy amenities; we will return.

House was clean and in pretty good shape. Stuart, the owner & manager was was very helpful before the rental, came by to meet us shortly after our arrival and supportive when my wife ended up in the hospital. I left a note for Stuart that listed a few things that needed his attention. I would not rent this house again because of the stairs — too hard on my artificial knees & hip .Need a one story next year.

This home and its location are perfect for a getaway! It has all the amenities that we needed, plus more! Stewart was very attentive to our needs, and it was very nice to meet him and get to hear more about Pagosa Springs. The deck became the area we spent most of our time, enjoying the hummingbirds, deer and and occasional fox. We would highly recommend this house as your perfect, comfortable ‘home away from home’!! Thank you Stewart.

This house was perfect for my family of four. Each boy had their own room and we enjoyed the layout. Location was great to walk to hiking trail around the corner. Also close to downtown Pagosa Springs. Not to mention Stuart was wonderful. He took care of our every need. We will be staying here again in the future!

If you are looking for true relaxation in an environment of quiet days and roaming deer, this home is it!!! It is a wonderful home to feel comfortable in while enjoying Pagosa Springs.

This place was perfect! Cozy, comfortable, equipped with all the necessities.
I have two boys and they both had their own room with same size TVs and queen beds. Very nice. Located close to hiking, tubing, restaurants and downtown shops. We enjoyed the best family vacation ever!!!! We will return here again.

Overall we had a very nice stay. The home was well stocked with everything we needed and had a very good location near town and close to groceries.

This was our first Vrbo rental and it was wonderful! The house was spotless and fully equipped! It is very spacious with an awesome upper deck! It is in a great location close to lakes, restaurants and grocery stores. It is about 10 minutes from the springs. The property manager was very helpful and readily available to answer any of our questions. Definitely planning to come back again!

We had a great time in this spacious home. It is clean and well maintained. The two decks offer additional living space. The second floor deck is large with outdoor furniture. We had a great barbecue on that deck. Lot’s of wildlife, including dear! A lake nearby is great for a leisurely walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely wonderful! Looking forward to next year. Property management was friendly and helpful. Loved the springs, went snowmobiling and skiing, but I think the best was on the property. We made a sledding area beside the driveway for the 3year old and we could watch all the fun from the stairs inside with the 6 month old. Making snow angels and grilling out.....best vacation !!! I would recommend this vacation house for anyone!

Stuart was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The space was perfect for our family!
