Riverside Memories

Our ignorance led us to believe that Pagosa's temperature would be cool enough to enjoy the springs and stay in a home without air conditioning. We were wrong. The bedrooms were uncomfortably hot. There are some suggestions to make the house /stay better: 1.Air conditioning 2. Cleaner house. Arrived to dirty floor, used towel in bathroom, pillows without cases on master bed because there was vomit on the pillow case left on top of the washer. The chandelier in dining room has never been dusted and spders are creeping down from the webs. There is vacuum debree everywhere in garage. Walls in downstairs bathroom are filthy. Grill was filthy and only one burner worked. SAFETY-Both back sliding doors do not lock..very concerning. The back balcony off the living room does not have lighting or rails. In fact my husband fell off the back balcony onto some boulders. The step down from balcony to steps is not needs proper steps. There are some sort of chemicals in an undisclosed jug in the back on the deck. This is unsafe for the little ones. We don't even know what it was. As soon as these things are addressed, it would be a much more pleasant stay.

Needs air-conditioning. Very dry ant filled lawn. Water treatment needed. Full of white pet hair.

We love this little place by the river however it would’ve been nice to have had furniture that was comfortable to sit on outside. The chairs were metal and hard and there was no place to lay down in a Chase lounger. The home next-door was a little messy looking, but outside of that it was a beautiful little place and a beautiful neighborhood

This home was a great place to stay for our family on spring break. Location, comfort, amenity, and natural beauty are all pros. In addition, our rep from VIP was outstanding in responsiveness and helpfulness in communicating with us. Lori took care of everything we needed while we were there, and even went the extra mile to help me reunite with an item we left behind. Thank you, Lori. You make us want to come back again.

We have stayed at this property many times over the years. We absolutely loved the previous owners and were a bit apprehensive when they sold it. VIP put all our worries to rest though! The house was just as wonderful as our previous stays and the VIP management staff was so helpful, friendly and accommodating and very quick to respond to emails and text messages. The home itself sits right next to the river. The neighborhood is quiet. The home is clean , inviting and has about everything you could possibly need. We have already booked our next stay!

This house is perfectly appointed and in a great location. Our stay was gorgeous and peaceful... beautiful sunsets!

Great cabin with wonderful amenities. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our snowboarding getaway in January. Spacious, well-stocked and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

We love this house. Easy to get into town and about as close as you can get to Wolf Creek for skiing. Was clean and kitchen stocked well. Maybe new pillows in the master bedroom. Hot tub is great after a day on the slopes. We'll be back.

I have stayed with VIP several times. As always they took great care of us. My family booked this property for a Christmas ski trip. When we arrived, the home had been decorated for Christmas without request. The home was just as advertised. Thank you VIP!

We had a great time. The Location was about a 10 minute drive to downtown and 25 mine drive to Wolf Creek Skiing. Sitting in the hot tub and listening to the river was so nice. Comfortable and well stocked rental. Our only complaint was the back sliding door not able to formally lock. In my opinion that needs to be corrected and has been mentioned in other reviews. Overall this was a great rental and we would recommend.

As always, the staff is wonderful to work with. Our family has rented this home multiple times over the years. The river access can't be beat. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The bathroom showers are both in need of repairs, but overall The home is always clean and well stocked.

We enjoyed everything about the house! It was a beautiful home and very comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked, it's in a great location with a lovely river behind it, the master bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the evening with our dogs and having coffee in the morning next to the river. We hope to return!

The view from the deck can’t be beat- enjoy the hot tub and let your troubles melt away. The house is well equipped - the only drawbacks were - elects guest only gets one towel and the pillows could use updating. I hope To come back one day .

This home was amazing. very clean, beautiful decor for the holidays. Beds were very comfortable. The views were amazing. We had a wonderful Christmas here!

We loved our stay. The host has stocked tons of extras- far more than any place we’ve stayed! The area is quiet. The beds are firm and comfortable. The river sounds can be heard inside the house. There were a few small things (minor) and the rental property acted quickly.
