If you're looking for that true Colorado experience, in a log cabin on 5 acres, that's close to uptown Pagosa Springs, yet feels completely secluded and surprisingly affordable... then you'll love this home!
This 3 story home has 5 bedrooms,4 full baths, large living room, media room, kitchen and dining area and a lot more and has been recently and completely remodeled. This home has an occupancy of 10 people, but with the space and number of beds, almost everyone can have their own place to sleep. The living room is on the main level (2nd floor) and has a large TV and comfortable furniture perfect for group settings enjoying an evening in front of the fire. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking any meal to be served at the large dining table with plenty of room for everyone with windows on 2 sides overlooking the beautiful property. On the same level are 2 queen bedrooms that share a large full bathroom. The newly added master suite is on this level and has tall ceilings, large master bathroom and a king bed.
Upstairs from the living room, you will enjoy the2nd king bedroom suite with full bathroom. This bedroom also has a small child's bed for the little one that wants to be with the parents. Downstairs from the living room, on the ground floor, there is a large studio style bedroom with a king bed and queen bunk beds, along with a kitchenette area, laundry room and full bath. This room also has it's own entrance.
This home is just a couple minutes from shopping, eating and drinking at one Pagosa's Brew Pubs. Approximately a 5- 7 min drive to the world famous Pagosa Hot Springs, and 30 min from Wolf Creek Ski. Fishing can be found in one of the many nearby streams, rivers or lakes. Or... stay at home and just go for a nice walk around this private 5 acre wonderland!
All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.
This is a pet friendly home. Dogs only, 2 max. The pet fee is $75 per pet, as well as an additional $100 refundable security deposit per pet.
This home does not have A/C
Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

Our family of 7 and our dogs had a fabulous stay at the Pagosa Log Cabin!!! The beautiful surroundings were so relaxing and we saw deer hummingbirds and turkey every day. The house was so clean when we arrived and easy to keep clean. The deck and hot tub were great for enjoying the stars and watching wildlife. The kitchen was a bit small but worked fine for us to cook every meal there. We’ve been coming to Pagosa for several years and found this property one of the most scenic and private. We always bring our dogs so finding a clean well appointed place has been a challenge but this was wonderful. VIP Property managers were amazingly attentive and friendly. We'll be back!

We loved the house and location. You feel like you’re in the woods but yet, you’re so close to town. The house was very clean and well equipped- had everything we needed. We also enjoyed all the visits from the deer. VIP was also great to deal with, we definitely want to stay here again.

Cabin tucked back in the forest. Wildlife all around. Can stay here or go explore. Go out to eat or just cook here, close to town but can just chill at the cabin. Would recommend this property to anyone whom visits pagosa.

We stayed at this home-away-from-home over the Thanksgiving week. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We didn't have snow here but did enjoy it in Wolf Creek. Eveyone was so exhausted after skiing that we didn't venture out except for dinner. We cooked for our Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed at our fingertips. The only issues we had was a tv in one bedroom didn't work so they didn't get to relax with tv and then the electricity went out one day in the area for a few hours. The property managers were very quick to respond and very helpful to any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with the vacation house. It was clean, there was plenty of room, and it was easy to go to town and the mountains. We saw lots of deer everyday. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home! It was perfect for our family- spacious, well maintained, large lot, great location!
House was recently renovated and very nice. Inside was clean and well equipped. Outside looked like a work in process. Porches could have been cleaned and it would have been nice to have outdoor furniture to sit on and watch the wild life. Only issue was the oven that did not work. I enjoy cooking for my family and without an oven, it limited what I could cook. Overall house was nice and I would definitely rent again.
