Great location. Just minutes to shopping and dining. Perfect for walks on the quiet streets. Our family loved the game room and hot tub.
We loved it!

We just got back from a two night stay at this cabin and we really loved it! We were able to easily find and access the home. It is in a great location, very close to everything we needed, and the roads and driveway were clear despite it being extremely snowy while we were here. It was also cleaned very well. The photos are an extremely accurate depiction of what you're getting. The kitchen has everything you'd need and more- We didn't need to use any of the spices or condiments we brought as those were provided. The table was large enough for an entire 10 party group to eat together, but there is also a second table and the barstools to spread out. Both living room areas also were able to comfortably accommodate our entire party of 9. The games we opened up were missing some parts or pieces and the shuffleboard table is extremely worn away, but all still usable. Hot tub seemed clean and well maintained. There were plenty of space heaters to keep us warm. The 5 bedrooms gave PLENTY of room to spread apart, and we were able to sleep 9 adults with multiple beds to spare. Each room is also fairly spread apart so there was a decent amount of privacy despite there being so many people. It was also really nice to have a garage to park our car in, and in the garage there was a bunch of sleds and a grill available. One of our few "complaints" was the lack of toilet paper. We brought extra toilet paper and paper towels just in case and we did end up having to use most of what we brought as well. Additionally, 9 adults showering meant that hot water was quick to run out but it seemed to replenish quickly. The welcome basket that they said would be provided was two lollipops, and there seemed to be a piece of gum stuck underneath the stair case that the cleaning crew missed. Still, these are all very small complaints and it was overall an amazing and comfortable stay. We would gladly book here again :) Additionally, we were confused when initially booking as the two descriptions don't match each other, and neither match the photos. This is the true sleeping arrangements: Loft: 3 twin bedsMaster: King Bed1st Floor Bedroom: Queen BedBottom Floor Bedroom 1: Queen Bed & TwinBottom Floor Bedroom 2: 2 separate bunk beds = 4 twins, and 1 queenSo 12 beds in total!

Mountain Star Lodge was our gathering spot this summer with our children from as far away as Shreveport, Louisiana, where it's hot and humid and Arizona where it's just boiling hot. We all agreed that this house was an ideal spot for all of us--we enjoyed the large recreation lower level, the placement of the bedrooms with accommodating baths, the gathering place provided by the generously supplied kitchen and family room, as well as the large windows for viewing the wildlife that was in great abundance. Even though the house is not air conditioned, bedroom windows and doors are screened, making the house very comfortable for the day ahead. We all had a delightful time!
Giving 4 stars, but I'd really give it 4.5 stars if that was an option. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Living room furniture is newer and very nice. We happened to be in Pagosa with highs in the 90s, so house did get warm during the day, even with best efforts to keep it cool. There have been a lot of comments about firm beds, for us that was fine. This house could hold 16ish people, with 3 bathrooms? We have 7 people, so no issues for us. Basement is pretty basic. Shuffleboard is warn and really not usable. Pagosa was great, home was very nice. Saw multiple deer, couple of bucks, wild turkey and a fox in the immediate neighborhood.
