Lake Point Place

Property was full of weeds and not that well maintained. V.I.P.Services were not very communicative. We did however make the best of our stay and enjoyed Pagosa Springs.

Being on the lake was lovely. There’s a nice view from the dining area.The house is dated, the siding is cracking and in need of paint. The yard wasn’t mowed and the back deck needs work. The configuration inside is a little odd, with the best views in the dining area. There’s a skinny living room at the entrance, and a dark sunken media room with a wood stove which would cook you out. (Watch your step!) While the house looked clean, the cabinets were sticky and we found a desiccated small-dog poo under a side table when we vacuumed; the vacuum looked like it hadn’t been emptied since it was purchased. I shared all this with the management company so hopefully they’ve addressed all these issues.Cell signal is weak so we used webcalling.That said, the Vacasa management company was very responsive, replying to texts on weekends, etc.

Overall our experience was great. There were a few things that the owner could improve for comfort and access to things that are offered. The picture of the property does not reflect what it looked like when we stayed. We could not access this beautiful lake from the property because the water was so low. The placement on the kayak in the photo is actually on the next door neighbors property and we weren't supposed to go on either side of the property at all and there are two trees that fill the access from the property.

Clean lake house what more could you want!

Great get away to have the entire family and our dog! Fishing the lakes was super fun and the row boat was fun too. All right out the door of the house! The management team was super friendly too!

We had a wonderful time, would not hesitate to stay here again and again! Clothes washer did not clean/work well and a slight delay in obtaining code to access kayak and boat - otherwise PERFECT. Thank you!

The location of the cottage was perfect for our active family. We spent countless hours fishing from the tinny boat, paddling around the lake and exploring all the nearby forest trails. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Some basic updates and maintenance would be great but there was nothing that stopped a very relaxing, yet active, holiday.

The location is the best part of this rental - along with the fact there is a kayak and rowboat you can use (with all the life preservers) right on the property. The kitchen has pretty much everything needed to make meals the entire time you are here.And it's nice you can bring your pup. The place has a cottage feel to it.Rental company provides outstanding service. Concierge helped us to get fishing permits - they were in the home upon arrival.The home is a bit of a drive from downtown Pagosa, but grocery store, restaurants, and golf are about a 10 min drive.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cozy cabin on the lake. The bedroom arrangements of one downstairs and two upstairs were very convenient for us. Access to the canoe and small boat was a huge bonus! The sunset at this location were incredible. This location also has great access to the downtown Pagosa Springs area.

We were very comfortable in the house. The boys enjoyed the fishing and the view was great. We had a very nice time
