Escapa Peace Place

We stayed at Elk View Retreat for a week this summer. Very nice house recently updated. Neighborhood was close to town, yet very private. House is air conditioned and has nice balcony with great views. Needs some landscape at the entrance. Overall very nice experience.Stuart is a great property manager and was always available.

Other than an issue with the heating not functioning our first night, we were happy with the property. The property manager had good, timely communication and the heating company was able to get out the following evening to fix the problem.

This house is located on a hilltop with great views of sunrise and sunset. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The property managers were responsive to answer our questions and support when checking in. The view was the main attraction.

This home is located on one of the most beautiful pieces of land in all of Pagosa Springs/Archuleta County. Whoever decorated the home, did a magnificent job, and the 360 degree views of the CO mountains are breathtaking! I wish I could've attached some photos I took of the moon rising over the snow capped mountains. The OUTDOOR hut tub was also lovely and we enjoyed star gazing out there at night. The MANAGEMENT was awesome! Jessica and Lori provided excellent customer service.

Ski trip with siblings, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the views very much! Would love to come back.

This property has amazing views all around. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and all the board games the owner kept for us. I would highly staying. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday week at this home. The views are incredible and the home and beds were extremely comfortable. We LOVED the outdoor hut tub (used it daily) and we had numerous foosball tournaments with our two boys. This home is great for families or a couples retreat. Would rent this home again in a heartbeat. Very easy to get to and close to shopping, downtown and the natural hot springs as well. Lori and Jessica were highly communicative and helpful as well.

This property is phenomenal. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The views are amazing. Quiet and peaceful with a lot of privacy. The home was clean and welcoming. The friendly accommodating staff went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. The check-in and out process was smooth and hassle-free. We will definitely stay here again in the future when visiting Pagosa Springs!

This property was PERFECT for a girls weekend getaway. The views from the deck & the hot tub were amazing. The master bathroom is killer and the house was sparkly clean when we arrived. Thank you for providing some great times with friends!

The home is large and very comfortable with spectacular views from every window... large enough to accommodate a family or 3 couples... Beautiful jacuzzi and a a wonderful trail to take a walk around the premises... Kitchen state of the art with large dining both inside and out..we had a ball ... spacious, clean and breathe taking scenery surrounding the home..

It rained a lot while we were there. Unfortunately, there were two windows where water leaked in during the rain. In addition, there was a beam under the decking that wasn't supporting anything. It was leaning to the side. Perhaps the pier was sinking? Other than that, the house is beautiful and in a great location.

We booked hastily on a holiday weekend because our rental through Airbnb cancelled at the last minute. The hosts at Pagosa Vacation Rentals were gracious and helpful in getting us settled! And the fact is- THIS was the house we were meant to be in! The view was breath-taking, both from the balcony and the viewing platform overlooking the valley. We saw wildlife, rested well in the comfy beds, and enjoyed all the luxuries of home! (Great kitchen!) The upstairs had more windows than walls and we felt surrounded by nature in this modern home. We will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful and the location was spectacular. Only downside is driving on gravel roads to get there, no big deal, but nice to know. It was so fun to see the sun come up, and watch the stars at night.

This is a beautiful and comfortable home with spectacular views. Our whole family enjoyed the gorgeous setting. The drive to the ski resort is about 30 minutes each way. Pagosa Springs is a close drive with many cute restaurants. We hope to visit again!

We love renting with VIP Companies. The properties are always clean and well cared for. Elk View Retreat lived up to it's name, we saw Elk, deer, turkey and other wildlife. The property was so peaceful and the views amazing. Highly recommended!

We frequent the Pagosa Area a couple of times a year and were blown away by this lovely home. The setting when driving up is unreal, and the views from the back deck are second to none. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay in Pagosa at this beautiful property. The VIP team was very responsive. The house was clean they added Christmas tree which made us feel at home. The only request I would suggest is to supply at least 2 bath towels per person. Everything else was wonderful and I would recommend this house to friends and family. We would love to make another trip in the Summer to see the wonderful views from this location.

Elk View is an amazing property with plenty of space for your family. We've stayed there 2 years now and would pick it again. It's conveniently located and only a short drive to downtown. We saw tons of wildlife from the amazing patio and the house was clean and well kept. VIP was amazing to work with and has the best communication to make sure your stay is top notch. We enjoyed white water rafting, horseback riding, and rented ATVs during our stay in Pagosa Springs.

This was out first time staying in Pagosa. This house was very private and beautiful. Huge windows everywhere to let in the gorgeous Colorado light and landscape. Highly recommended for families or large groups. It has a ton of bonus interior space for kids to play within. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end tools and appliances for people who want to cook elaborate and/or large meals. My only note is that the owners should landscape the exterior more thoroughly. The property is covered with thorny weeds and that made it hard for us and our dog to play/explore outside. Otherwise it’s an A+ Quality rental home.

We were fortunate to spend 3 weeks in this fabulous home. Not just the house but the location and surroundings are perfect. The views are stunning and, though there are other homes in the area, it is very quiet and private. The house is within a few miles of everything you need. We have been getting out of Oklahoma heat in the summer for a number of years now and this home is the best we have stayed in by far, hope to come back again. Want to thank Natalee for her help, she is a pleasure to deal with.
