Antler Mountain

Antler Mountain is a beautiful , large, wonderfully decorated, home filled with lots of entertainment opportunities for your group. However, upon arrival, the main heat in the house was out causing us to have to use space heaters in every room and the large center fireplace ( there is no central heat). And that was fine, until the heat went out in the separate apartment too and we have to share space heaters causing some rooms in main house to be cold. We did have a fire in main fire place going at all times , however, on four occasions it smoked up the house sometimes causing the smoke alarms to go off.... frustrating Long, story short... on our vacation we had to "work" at keeping the house warm at all times. The water heater went out one night in the main house and a separate night in the apartment causing us to go without showers for two days... We had maintenance crew there for of the six days of our stay. ...The house only came stocked with twelve towels...one for each person for six days...not enough. The bathroom on the main floor was out of order the entire time...the trash cans were stuffed full for the entire week we were there from the renters the previous week, so we had no trash cans to put trash. This house was not what was expected and we will not be coming back during the winter because it is not well plumbed or heated in the winter.

I would like to say the house itself is very nice but the manager of the house is not a very nice person in general. We all flew from all over the US to meet her here. Everyone at different times. Some were there a little early and wanted to get into the house a little early. We were told no! It was two hours early no one had stayed in the house for three days prior. Two towels per bathroom and washing rag was hard to find. The porches could not be used because they decided no to get snow off. So only one door could be used to entrance and exit. Then there was the leak that was dripping in the main dining room. The room could not be used for any or our meals. They house is amazing if you take the property manager out of the equation. If I were the owners, I would switch property managers. I would not recommend because of that.

Charming property

This house offers a great space to entertain guests of all ages. It has something to offer everyone. As the host of gatherings I rarely get to relax because I am busy entertaining everyone. I did not feel like that at this house. The house itself did all the entertaining on this trip! Great stay! Highly recommended.

This was our first time visiting Pagosa, and Antler Mountain was the perfect family home for us! It was a short distance from town, yet it felt private and secluded nestled amongst the aspen trees. When we arrived, we were greeted with an amazing welcome basket filled with wine, chocolates, and these cute frosted cups with the Antler Mountain logo. The kitchen and living room is an entertainer’s dream, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Each bedroom was a nice retreat, and the beds were all extremely comfortable with high-end linens. The kids loved having a basement with media room and ping pong table. The second floor pool table and game closet were also a hit! The outdoor space was the best part. There is a fabulous covered patio with outdoor fireplace that connects the main house and the guest house and you can relax on the sectional and enjoy the view or rock in the rocking chair while you sip your morning coffee. More views can be found on the front porch, and it was fun to sit in the adirondak chairs and drink a glass of wine after the sun had set behind the house. If you’re traveling to Pagosa, you will not be disappointed with this house. We definitely plan to return to this home!

Did not want to leave! This home has it all! It is is so functional, beautiful and relaxing! The pictures do not do it justice. As we drove up, we were in awe of the spectacular colors of the Aspen trees. The home is nestled amongst the trees. Lots of land in front, behind and on either side of the home. It gives you a feeling of being remote, yet it is just a 5 to 10 minute drive at the most to shopping areas and restaurants. Pagosa Springs is one of the best kept secrets in Colorado. Amazing hiking, fishing and beauty all around! Hot Springs, great little restaurants.Love the small town feel.The home has the most wonderful kitchen and extremly well equipped with all sorts of cooking equipment. The views out front from the kitchen and living room are spectacular. Sitting on the front porch on the Adirondack Chairs with a cup of coffee or cocktail while taking in the views is amazing! This home has it all! Pool table upstairs, Ping Pong table and large TV and sitting area in the basement. The furniture is exquisite. The beds are ALL extremely comfortable. Quality linens and towels. The owners leave a great welcome packet and bottle of wine and cute Antler Mountain Cups as a keepsake!The covered porch connecting the main house and the guest house is incredible! Not only does it offer plenty of seating around the large stone fireplace, it also has a great table for outdoor eating and an outdoor television. Great large hot tub!, Outdoor cooking, etc.The guest house is amazing.Large master, fully equipped kitchen, large living and breakfast room and large upstairs loft.The National forest can be accessed by a very short walk in the back of the property.We will definitely be going back with friends and with family!I could go on and on about this house.

This house is incredible. It is nestled into the trees so it feels secluded but is a short drive (with beautiful scenery!) away from so many amenities. We loved the spacious and light filled main room. The kitchen was a dream to cook in because it was so well stocked and open to the main room. We loved playing ping pong in the basement and pool on the second floor. The bedrooms were all so welcoming and cozy with comfortable beds and attractive bedding. And the porch. Y'all. THE PORCH. It's covered, has a fireplace, a large dining table, a sitting area, a grill, hanging lights and a TV. We ate most meals outside and we loved sitting outside by the fire to talk after our kids were asleep. We had friends come visit while we were there and they had an entire guest house to themselves. The guest house would also be amazing for a cousin room on a family trip or a kiddo room when multiple families travel together. The property management company was responsive and helpful. We cannot recommend Antler Mountain enough!

Way more than expected. Coffee in the morning to watch the sunrise over the mountains…Patio fireplace in the evening, and plenty of room for our families and kids. 2 great play areas for kids and a playhouse out back with room to explore. Oh…almost forgot to mention a massaging hot tub! Our family had such an amazing time there and will definitely be back with more friends and family.

What an amazing mountain palace! Large living quarters for multiple families, expansive kitchen, dining areas and fantastic outdoor space. There is everything you could ask for…multiple wood burning fireplaces, a hot tub, basement full of activities for kids and adults alike. We had such a memorable trip to Antler Mountain and hope to visit again soon!

We originally rented another more expensive property, but thru a broken water line wound up here at Antler Mountain. Best thing that could have ever happened. This place is wonderful, has great accessibility, and has everything you could ever want. We played pool, board games, swam in the hot tub, watched the superbowl on the big screen TV. Kids played in playhouse out back with a snowball fight, and also slid down the hill on sleds (found those in the storage room). This place has everything!

We stayed here with a group of ladies from our church, and it was great! All the comfortable open space in the home accommodated our group nicely. It was perfect for our event and we were blessed to have so much room. We really enjoyed all the room in the kitchen. The mountain views from every window were amazing!

Awesome house in great location. Outdoor covered patio on this house is the best. The split two house arrangement was perfect for the grandkids in our three generation family on this trip.

Such a great house for both our families and our 6 kids! So many things to do without even leaving the property. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Incredible house that exceeded our expectations!! The layout could not be better for a large group. It’s essentially two houses connected by a dreamy covered porch with a fireplace and amazing sitting area (and hot tub!). The front of the home has another sitting area that we enjoyed so much in the mornings to drink coffee and view the amazing colors of fall. The downstairs basement was fabulous for the teenagers to play ping pong and watch movies. You feel secluded because of the privacy the house allows but you are also no more than 5-10 minutes to town. Truly the best of both worlds. We would stay here again and again.

This home was perfect for our multi-generational family gathering. We were lucky enough to come in during nice weather and it snowed 15" the very next day. The young kids had a blast sledding down the hill in the back of the property. The hot tub was wonderful for kids and adults and everything was easy to use with plenty of dishes and silverware. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. Having the house and the guest house was amazing for our group and easy to transition back and forth with the covered porch. I would recommend this property to anyone who asked, it is in a perfect setting and wonderfully set up. Kudos to the home owners.

What a beautiful place to stay! The whole family had such a great time.

This house was amazing. Very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of activities for the kids to do. We especially loved our time on the porches enjoying brisk mornings and watching the deer come up close. The house is close to town and also many hiking trails. We will definitely be back.
